I stayed in Africa Regent guest house a week during the WC2010. Pam and David are wonderful people and great hosts. They helped me very much with transfers, day tours and useful advises. Rooms are nice, big and comfortable. The guest house is situated a 5-7 min drive from the Durban Golden Mile and 10-15 min drive from the Gateway shopping mall. And there are several restraunts and banks within a walking distance. The surroundings are safe and realy quiet. Very nice place to stay! - Grigory - Moscow, Russia

This was by far the best guest house I've ever stayed. beautiful house with the best family. Dave and his wife are surely the most friendliest people I met in Durban. The house contains so many cultural things to look at. Rooms are super clean, Breakfast is so well prepared and delicious, and Best of all the owner Dave and his wife are the nicest people ever. 100% satisfaction. the freindliness of the owners, it was well managed and very clean and the decor was like i was in middle of africa bush but with modern utilities. the area durban north is exellent spot as its between umhlanga and durban. the bar/pool room is great and the swimming pool area is exellent. - Nic - London, England
